OUR COMMITMENT to inclusion & sustainability

Diversity

We live in a colorful, diverse world full of amazing stories. We believe that the only way to find those stories and tell them effectively is to purposefully involve people with a wide range of cultures, backgrounds and experiences. The only way to represent the world in storytelling is to represent it full of its natural diversity, both in front of the camera and behind it.

Gender equality

We're making a commitment to the industry we love to make it better by bringing more women into every production. Not just through strong women characters and stories, but also into the creative and technical production roles that have long been dominated by men.

Environment

For the over 20 years that we've been making factual television, we've strived to make science, data and the natural world and its people more understandable, more relatable. It's all part of the fundamental mission to engender respect for the living planet we share. In this way, we've been working to influence environmentally sustainable behavior all along. And it's never been more important than it is now.

We are committed to contributing to the UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development through both the stories we choose and our own practices. Such as hiring locally and working remotely whenever possible, considering the full lifecycle cost of equipment purchases, and supporting small businesses.
